The POSCO TJ Park Foundation is inviting applications for the POSCO Asia Fellowship 2026, a prestigious graduate scholarship program designed exclusively for students from Asian countries who wish to pursue Master’s or PhD degrees in South Korea. This highly competitive program focuses on students in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), providing comprehensive financial support to study at one of South Korea’s top-tier universities.
With a vision to nurture future global leaders, the POSCO Asia Fellowship has supported outstanding scholars across Asia. For 2026, 50 talented students will be selected through a merit-based process and granted the opportunity to study at up to three top South Korean universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be a citizen of an Asian country
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree at the time of application
- Plan to pursue a Master’s or PhD degree in a STEM field
- Intend to study at one of the eligible universities in South Korea
English Language Proficiency
Candidates must meet any ONE of the following minimum scores unless they are exempt:
- TOEFL: 550 (PBT)
- IELTS: 6.0
- TOEIC: 750
- New TEPS: 327
Applicants who completed a degree from a university in an English-speaking country (e.g., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the U.S., or the U.K.) are exempt from these language requirements.

How to Apply for the POSCO Asia Fellowship
