Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements for the 2026 intake:
- PhD awarded within 8 months of the application deadline (exceptions possible)
- Prior postdoctoral experience and/or interdisciplinary training preferred
- Internal applicants must not have been employed at ISTA for more than 12 months before the deadline
- Open to international researchers from all backgrounds
- Shortlisted candidates must be available for a remote interview 9–12 weeks after the deadline
- Successful fellows must start within six months of receiving the offer
