Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the METI Japan Internship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of an OECD/DAC listed country
- Be between 18 and 40 years old as of August 24, 2026
- Be enrolled in or recently graduated from a university or other higher education institution
- Submit a valid enrollment or graduation certificate
- Provide a recommendation letter from a faculty member or relevant authority
- Be proficient in English (Japanese language skills are not required)
- Be available for the full duration of the selected internship period
